According to an article in The Independent online, so-called 'Brexit preppers' have been advising the public to stockpile essentials and favourite foods with the clock ticking down to B-Day on the 29th of March.
The British Retail Consortium, however, advises differently. In their view, shops and supermarket chains have been stockpiling extra goods anyway, so there's no need for every Tom, Dick and Harry to fill their garages with tins of this and jars of that. When it comes to perishable goods like fresh fruit and vegetables, stockpiling for more than a few days is pointless.
With B-Day just a few weeks away now though, and no sign of any deal being reached, we're sure more people are beginning to think a bit of Brexit prepping may not be a bad idea...
